Before and after each cycle ,including your very first use, since the disc is not pre-sterilized, it should be disinfected by boiling for 10 minutes in a pot of water.
During your period, rinse the disc with cold water to help prevent staining. Using a cleanser is optional, but if you do, choose one that is mild, pH-balanced, fragrance-free, and rinse thoroughly.

The first thing that caught my attention was the packaging! Every part of it was thoughtfully used, which significantly reduced waste. So, how was my experience using Mooneva?
I’ve been using a period cup for over four years now, so I’m already quite comfortable with my body and I knew it might take some time to get used to the disc and figure out the most comfortable way to insert it. During the first 48 hours (thankfully it was the weekend, so I stayed home), I experienced some leaking because I was still figuring out how to position it correctly. I reached out to the Mooneva team for help, and they patiently guided me step by step—which really helped me stay calm and not give up.
By the third day, after a lot of trial and error, I finally found the right angle and a comfortable insertion method. After that, I had no leaking at all, and I was able to wear it for up to 12 hours comfortably.
